2 Year Old (Potty Training) Class
The two-year-old class is designed to support the needs for each child to play alone or with peers. Our program provides opportunities for exploration of the environment in a safe setting. The classroom is equipped with a diapering station and easy access to toilets. Together with the teacher, you will decide on the appropriate time for toilet training. Efforts will focus on working as a team to help your child become potty trained and independent with using the toilets.
Preschool (3 and 4 Years Old)
The Preschool program is thematic in approach. Academic skills that are developmentally appropriate for this specific age group are incorporated into the weekly lesson plans. Children are exposed to pre-writing activities to develop their fine motor skills. Subject areas such as Math, Science, and Social Studies are taught using games, stories, and crafts. The curriculum for this class is developed to nurture the love of learning, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Our Pre-Kindergarten curriculum prepares our students for success in Kindergarten, as well as throughout their entire academic life. Though our Pre-K program is academic, much attention is given to how to present the lessons in a way that is developmentally appropriate for the 4 and 5 year olds. Math, Pre-reading and Reading, Social Studies, and Science are all integral parts of the curriculum.
